Damien Young, MA, LMFT, CCTP brings with him years of diverse clinical experience and a deep passion for healing work. Damien began working with Pau Hana Counseling in 2022 and was promoted to Program Director in 2023. His personal path that called him into the field was at the intersection of psychology, spirituality, and a close relationship with the natural world.

Damien is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and specializes in the treatment of trauma via experiential therapies such as EMDR, IFS, and somatic therapies, family systems, attachment theory, addiction and codependency, transpersonal psychology, and nature-based therapy.

As a clinical supervisor, Damien is passionate about providing support and guidance with an emphasis on empowering clinicians to reach their greatest potential via their own unique path forged from their strengths, their personality, and what inspires them.
