*Seeing Clients Online Via Telehealth & In Our Hilo Office*
Aloha kākou, I'm grateful to call Hawaiʻi Island home. I hold a master's degree in comprehensive and special education, and a master's degree in social work specializing in mental health. I'm currently a pre-licensed professional working toward my clinical license as a therapist.
For 20 years, I've had the honor of cultivating relationships within the disability, LGBTQIA+, and mental health communities while working with children, teens, young adults, and families. I am passionate about supporting those who come from multiple communities, especially ones that are underserved. My aim is to support people by empowering them to grow into their fullest selves while acknowledging the oppressive systems we live within.
I bring that same commitment to therapy, in which I use a culturally humble, trauma-informed approach that centers you. I work from a strengths-based, relational perspective that holds space for you to explore your past and current life in a safe and held manner. I'm also in training for somatic, art therapy, DBT, CBT, and ecotherapy techniques. I'm currently accepting individual clients, including children, teens, and adults.
