Stephen Wallace, BS, graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Biology with an emphasis in Marine Biology. He grew up on the Big Island of Hawaiʻi. Stephen has a strong background in medical services and administration, with extensive experience in scheduling, correspondence, insurance, and billing operations that he brings to the team.

He began working for Pau Hana Counseling in 2021 and was promoted to Practice Manager in 2022. Stephen is valued at Pau Hana Counseling for his attention to detail, ability to learn quickly, and kind and friendly nature.

Stephen is active in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and believes that maintaining physical health supports mental well-being. He speaks Filipino (Tagalog) fluently and has served as a translator in medical settings. While volunteering in the Philippines, Stephen developed a strong sense of devotion to underserved communities and saw firsthand the need to improve access to mental health care in low-income areas.

Stephen believes Hawaiʻi is a beautiful and healing place for clients of Pau Hana Counseling to begin their journey toward wellness.
